ActiveIEQ V6 is a multi-parameter IAQ monitor that measures PM2.5, TVOC, CO2, temperature and humidity. Designed to be more than just an air quality monitor, the device is also equipped with sensors that detect and report lux levels, acoustics and noise quality (NC levels). These sensors are all integrated into a single monitoring device. The monitor readily communicates with existing facility management software, HVAC systems, and BMS interfaces via our AI powered smart BMS gateway. The smart BMS also provides automation strategies to help improve indoor environmental quality and energy performance. By collecting real time IEQ data and analyzing the ventilation system, the AI generates ventilation and operation strategies that are directly communicated to the BMS.

In 2018, the Indian commercial real estate sector already accounts for approximately 400 million square feet of project space undergoing fit out (source). Less than 1% of this are actively managing and monitoring their IAQ, which results in high levels of indoor pollution and often, inefficient operations of mechanical systems. With increasing awareness of the dangers of outdoor pollution, a growing number of people now understand the seriousness of air quality and are looking for ways to protect themselves. ActiveBuildings strives to increase air quality awareness by providing high quality data that project teams can use to create solution-based, action plans. Researching, developing and building world-class systems for indoor air and environment quality is part of the company’s core mission.

According to Priyans Murarka, Co-founder, Active Buildings, “RESET is the most credible building standard that emphasizes the health of occupants, going in-depth into indoor air quality (IAQ). In India, increased awareness centered on air pollution has given rise to a large number of IAQ hardware and software makers. However, there is a huge gap in quality and performance between both models and brands. This is where a third-party performance benchmarking system is extremely important, and RESET provides that. As a globally recognised standard that has certified projects around the world. We are glad to follow the guidelines set by RESET.”

About RESET Air Standard

RESET Air is the world’s first sensor-based, performance-driven building certification program where indoor environmental quality is monitored and measured in real-time. Buildings and/or spaces are required to consistently maintain healthy indoor air quality at all times, as defined by the Standard. RESET Air is comprised of comprehensive standards for hardware or sensor performance, installation, maintenance and data communication.
